A new Supermoto Championship has been launched in Southern California. The WAR Supermoto Series starts of with a 3 race Triple Crown Winter series and a full Championship season starting in March.
The Triple Crown was created for the racer who does not want to take three months off in the offseason. Now they can race all year long.
This series will start in December at Adams Motorsports Park, followed by a stop at Apex and eventually, crowning a Triple Crown Champion in February at Grange Motor Circuit.
WAR Supermoto Series Championship is scheduled to start in March, with one race per month ending in November.
The Championship series will visit six different race tracks in the Southern California Area and feature an AMA State Chamionship race. Stay tuned, the schedule will be released soon.
Two new classes will be introduced in the 2014 Supermoto European Championship: the SM3, reserved to 250 cc 4-strokes bikes and the SM300, reserved to 200 cc to 300 cc 2-strokes bikes. The new classes will race together but with separated classifications.
TM and KTM have already set up the 300 cc bikes for the SM300 class with low costs, for young riders who want to participate in this discipline.
The new SM3 and SM300 classes will have eight rounds, which will be held together with the FIM Supermoto World Championship; the race format will consist of two races of ca. twenty minutes each.
The upcoming Supermoto season will also see the SM85 class reserved to the riders from eleven to fifteen years.
This class will race during the Bulgarian and Romanian Grand Prix and during the FIM Supermoto of Nations that will be hosted in Pleven in October

The site also offers riders, teams and organisations to get involved as Website Sponsors which will enable the expansion of the site and promote the sport to a wider audience.
This year we have been delighted with the progression of the sport and the media and TV coverage provided and with the likes of TT front runner Connor Cummins getting involved on track we are sure to see other leading riders follow his example and jump on a supermoto bike in 2014?

European Supermoto Vice-Champion Devon Vermeulen will be riding for the TM Racing Factory team next year. He will be competing in the European Supermoto Championship just like the last 2 years.
He will be the teammate of Thomas Chareyre. It is not certain that Thierry van den Bosch is returning to the team in 2014.
Preparations are on track for the Sic Supermoto Day at Latina that will host a long list of champions who will compete Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1 to raise funds for the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.
On the track " Sagittarius " of Latina, the riders will compete in an endurance race of 58 laps. They will ride in teams that consist of 1 Supermoto specialist and will be joined by a rider from MotoGP, Moto2/3, Superbike, MX, Journalism and the world of entertainment.
The entry list is headed by the winner of 2012, Andrea Dovizioso, who will team up with World Supersport rider and ex-British Supermoto Champion Christian Iddon this year. They will compete against strong teams like Max Biaggi and Italian Champion Ivan Lazzarini. World Superbike vice-champion Laverty will be joined by European Supermoto Champion Edgardo Borella.
Then there are other strong teams like Troy Corser-Sammartin, Ben Bostrom-Occhini, Pirro-Ravaglia and also a full American team with AMA Supersport rider Miles Thornton and Eastcoast Supermoto Champion Eric Stump.
This summer, Shaørans and his Dad, took their bikes and hit some beautiful french roads. Supermoto and a Roadtrip is an ideal combo for a steel ass!

USA Pro Supermoto made its way to Las Vegas, Nevada for a season finally at Caesar Palace. The Lites and Premier classes of USA Pro Supermoto were combined for the final race of the season, battling on a tight and technical course that proved to be challenging for all riders. With the Las Vegas strip as its backdrop, the intricate track gave spectators the exciting, action packed battle they were hoping to see.
