Two British teams will be competing against 16 other nations in the Olympics of motorcycling at the Algarve Moto GP venue on October 5-6.
The senior team consists of top World Championship racer Matt Winstanley who will be hoping to lead his team to the top step of the podium aboard his SHR TM machine. Lining up alongside him are current British Champion Chris Hodgson from Maryport (Skyzone KTM) and his closest competitor Barnsley based James Addy (SHR Honda) who will be putting their usual rivalries aside in their bid for to get a step higher on podium than their 2011 runner up spot.

Swanley’s Ben Robb (Drilltec KTM) has represented his country three times and together with his close friend and arch rival Norfolk based Lewis Cornish (Nameplate Services/DCR) aim to work alongside European Grand Prix regular Malachi Mitchell-Thomas (SHR Honda) in their efforts for glory.
Team GB manager David Dearden announced his choice of riders and named the squad at the Blyton Park round of the British Supermoto Championship.
