5-time Dutch Supermoto Champion Marcel van Drunen is working hard on his MVD Racewear brand. The specially developed gear is getting very popular in the Supermoto scene.

From 2010 MVD Racewear offers the opportunity to design the MVD Racewear gear in your own team colors. You'll will have to order at least 3 pieces in the same size.

With this new feature MVD Racewear acts on the demand for Supermoto gear in team colors.

Rumours and pictures about the brand new Alpinestars Tech 7 boots have been out there for a while but now the boots are available at Supermotodaz.

The Alpinestars Tech 7 Supermoto features the unique, specifically developed, replaceable, three-pieces Supermoto outer sole. Fixed, one-piece, main area for rigidity and structural strength. Replaceable heel and front outer foot sections for sliding and wear resistance fit absolutely flush with the fixed sole to create a smooth, uninterrupted surface.The replaceable heel and toe sections are formed with a specially developed rubber compound and are affixed to the boot with mechanical grip tabs and steel screws with a washer and raised screw head protection to ensure the screws and assembly are not damaged by wear and impacts.

There are several boot manufacturers out there that offer special boots for Supermoto riders. Supermoto riders tend to slide over the asphalt with sole of their boots, replacing your boots every year could get expensive. So several manufacturers decide to make boots with a replacable sole. The replacable soles can be bought for a price of around $30/€20. Most of the time the boots are the same as the MX models the manufacturers offer. It's just the sole that is different.
