They say the best things in life are worth waiting for and the latest ‘Hot-off- the-Press’ issue of the sport’s favourite read, Supermoto International is no exception. This eagerly awaited, jam packed summer issue is crammed with everything you need to know about supermoto, the bikes and the guys that ride them.

Click read more to find out whats new in this issue.

In the beginning there were only DIY supermoto bikes, we get the inside story on the first ever factory built street motard and how it almost never saw the light of day. SMI gets the World scoop on an amazing MWR Christini 2 wheel drive KTM, how does this incredible piece of engineering stack up and will it really make you a better rider? Maybe. Read all about how it works and how it rides in issue 7. Stunning and fast are two words to describe TMs, we swing a leg over one of these Latin lovelies at a BSMC meeting. Are they really worth the dosh? Well you’d better get this issue and find out. Rolling back the years, in response to requests for small bore motos we get hold of a tasty WR125-X and put it though a pukka road and track test. Can a tiddler be fun? You bet, we were sorry to see her go back.

Meanwhile the SMI wrecking crew take a mammoth ‘road trip’ Down-Under to compete in the Aussie Supermoto Championship. This really was an unforgetable trip as the plucky Brit’s eat Aussie dirt more than once. Was this Iddo’s last ever supermoto race?

We also get to check out a pair of superb reader’s motos, a super trick, streetlegal VdB replica Aprilia and an over the top Honda XR680-RR supermoto conversion. Is their no limit to the lengths some folk will go to get their perfect supermoto? These pair are certainly worth a second look. Fancy something a tad more useable? Check out SMI’s used bike buyer’s guide for perhaps the perfect do-it-all motard, the Suzuki DRZ400-SM goes under the microscope.

Plus the usual race reports including a report on the Polish and Scottish moto scenes, letters Staff Bike reports on our new Suzuki RMZ-450 SM conversion and KTM 450 SMR plus product tests are all here in issue seven of the only English language mag dedicated to SM. Supermoto International is available on subscription at www.smimag.co.uk

Also at the races, on-line or from your local friendly SM dealer. Still only £3.75 per copy or £15 for an annual UK subscription. For the rest of the world the price is €6.50 (incl postage to EU).
