The Supermoto Championship of Spain was won by Frenchies Bidart and Blot in 2009. In the first race of the 2010 Spanish Supermoto Championship Bidart and Blot where not riding but they are replaced by several other foreign riders that want to win the 2010 Spanish Championship.

Frenchman Guillaume Rigal, German Stefan Freyermuth and the Brit Anthony Ford
(who rides knee down like Bussei) all joined the fight for the Spanish victory.

The first race of the season was asphalt only since the rain on sunday made the offroad section too dangerous. Jesus Romero took the pole in the SM Elite(S1+S2) in front of Giminez and Freyermuth.
