Belgian KTM rider Marc Fraikin won the first round of the Dutch Supermoto Championship in Lelystad last weekend. He won the first race after a battle with KTM MTR rider Kevin Viellevoye and TM Factory rider Devon Vermeulen who started from pole position.
The second race was cancelled after a serious crash of Jan-Willem Korte who was seriously injured and is still remaining in the hospital. His condition is stable. We wish him and his family all the support in the world.
Because the second race was cancelled the overall result and standings are the same as the result from race 1. Fraikin leads the championship in front of Viellevoye and Vermeulen.
The Belgian Cup was won by Antoine Jeaumotte who won both races in front of Kenny Neirinck(2-2) and Koen Roos(3-4).
In the National class it was Renzo van der Hoek(1-1) who took the overall win followed by Oege de Jong(2-2) and John Mooiman(3-4).
