S1: The duel Bidart / Grelier
The weekend started well for Sylvain Bidart (Honda), fastest in the qualification, winning the Superpole and the first final. An unusual round where Boris Chambon (Honda) came to play a spoilsport by interfering between Bidart and his eternal rival Aurelien Grelier (Honda). "Lupo" is less lucky in the 2nd final: he is involved in a collective fall with Adrien Coquet (TM). The two injured pilots could not continue the race. Aurelien Grelier is faster than Bidart in the second race, which also benefits Aurelien Rolland (Kawasaki) who finishes third. Thomas Verscheure (Honda) confirms that he deserves a place in the premier class with his 5-4 score. The Superfinal goes to Aurelien Grelier in front of Sylvain Bidart. In the championship standings, Boris Chambon hands over his 3rd place to Aurelien Rolland. The title is in sight for Sylvain Bidart but there are still two races and Aurelien Grelier does not let go.
Championship ranking S1
1 Sylvain Bidart 273 pts
2 Aurelien Grelier 243
3 Aurelien Rolland 190
S2: Flandin back to business
Stephane Blot (Yamaha) has ruled the last race in Valencia, but this time it was Guillaume Flandin (Honda) who was in great shape. The Luc'1 rider won the first final after being forced to deal with repeated attacks of Stephane Blot, who tryed everything on this track where overtaking is difficult. Guillaume Flandin left Lohéac with a fine stack of points, especially when Stephane Blot suffered a puncture in the Superfinal. Blot aka the "Professor" slipped to the second place in the championship standings but only 2 points behind Flandin! Everything is still possible. In the absence of Warren Bougard, wounded, Julien Vincent (TM) has had a free hand to keep his third place in the championship standings.
Championship ranking S2
1 Guillaume Flandin 251 pts
2 Stephane Blot 249
3 Julien Vincent 148
S3: The hierarchy settled
As for small bikes(250cc), the championship starts to take shape. Frédéric Guérin (Honda) continued its momentum and won two of three races, thus enforcing his first place in the S3 championship. Maxime Lacour (Yamaha) won the first final, then finished third and fifth place in the two subsequent races. Florian Coget, (Yamaha) is back in the race with three second places.
Championship ranking S3
1 Frédéric Guérin 264 pts
